What this website collects
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, and loads no content from other servers; fonts and images are served from this site. When a page is requested, the web server records the IP address, the date and time, the requested address, the referring page and the browser identifier in a log file. This is needed to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after 14 days.
Reaction-time demo
The reaction-time task on the research pages runs entirely in the browser. Its results are not stored or sent.
If you send an email, the message and your address are used only to answer it.
Links to other websites
Links to journals, profiles and research platforms lead to services that have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
